Lead Inspections

As part of the Rental Registration process, a Lead Inspection must also be obtained if applicable to the subject property.  If the property was built before January 1, 1950, a Lead Inspection is required.  If the propery was built after this date, but before January 1, 1978, it is suggested that the property be inspected for lead also.  We are licensed by the Maryland Departement of the Environment to conduct the Lead Inspection.  This is a separate inspection and not included as part of the Rental Inspection.   Please note that if the property is subject to Lead Inspections, this inspection must be performed at each rental turnover.
